DEFINITIONS "Licensor" means Bryan Fernandes de Oliveira, publishing under the pseudonym "Smidul". "Project" means the work to which this License is attached, together with the materials officially distributed as part of that work, including any applicable source code, object code, mods, plugins, datapacks, resource packs, generators, scripts, configuration files, original assets, documentation, and generated output. "Official Project Page" means a repository, website, or distribution page identified by the Licensor as an official source for the Project. "Authorized Platform" means a hosting, development, or distribution platform selected or approved by the Licensor to host an official repository, page, or release of the Project. "Bundle" means a modpack, server pack, datapack collection, map, world download, or comparable collection containing multiple independently useful projects or resources. "Addon" means a separate work that requires the official Project and adds compatibility, integration, configuration, or additional functionality without reproducing a substantial part of the Project. "Standalone Distribution" means distribution of the Project, a modified copy of the Project, or a substantial part of the Project by itself, or within a collection whose principal purpose is to redistribute, replace, rebrand, or provide an altered edition of the Project. 2. LICENSE GRANT Subject to the terms of this License, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to: a. download, install, and use the Project; b. use the Project in personal worlds, multiplayer worlds, public or private servers, and other compatible installations; c. modify the Project for your own use; d. reproduce and distribute the original or a modified copy of the Project solely as part of a Bundle that complies with Section 3; e. create and distribute an Addon that complies with Section 4; f. use documented tags, APIs, commands, configuration options, interfaces, and extension points; and g. create a GitHub fork solely as permitted by Section 5. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in this License. 3. BUNDLE DISTRIBUTION You may include the original or a modified copy of the Project in a Bundle only if all of the following conditions are satisfied: a. the Bundle contains multiple independently useful projects or resources; b. the Bundle does not exist principally to redistribute, replace, rebrand, or provide an altered edition of the Project; c. this License and all copyright notices distributed with the Project are retained; d. the Project is clearly attributed to Smidul in a credits, dependencies, acknowledgements, version information, or equivalent section reasonably accessible to users; e. a link to the Official Project Page is provided where reasonably practicable; f. material modifications are identified where reasonably practicable; g. the Project is not represented as having been created entirely by the Bundle author; and h. the Project or modified copy is not offered as a separate download outside the Bundle. A Bundle may be free or monetized only to the extent permitted by applicable law, the rules of its distribution platform, and any applicable publisher terms, end-user license agreements, or usage guidelines, including the Minecraft EULA and Minecraft Usage Guidelines where applicable. You may not impose a separate charge specifically for the Project or a modified copy of it, or represent that payment transfers ownership of the Project. Distribution permitted by this Section does not authorize Standalone Distribution. 4. ADDONS AND INTEGRATIONS You may create and distribute an Addon if the Addon: a. requires the official Project to be obtained separately; b. consists primarily of original code, data, assets, or configuration; c. clearly states that it is unofficial and is not maintained or endorsed by Smidul; d. does not use the Project's name, icon, branding, or presentation in a manner likely to create confusion about origin or endorsement; and e. links to the Official Project Page where reasonably practicable. An Addon may provide compatibility, integration, configuration, or additional functionality. An Addon may not: a. reproduce a substantial portion of the Project; b. provide substantially all of the Project's functionality without the official Project; c. operate principally as a replacement, fork, mirror, port, unofficial update, continuation, maintenance release, reimplementation, or repackaged edition of the Project; or d. redistribute an original or modified copy of the Project. 5. GITHUB FORKS A fork created through GitHub's official fork functionality may remain publicly visible within the repository network for review, development, testing, integration work, and submission of contributions to the official repository. This permission does not authorize you to: a. publish releases, packages, builds, installers, archives, container images, or other distributions from the fork; b. promote the fork as an independent, alternative, maintained, continued, ported, or replacement edition of the Project; c. use the fork as a mirror or separate distribution source; d. detach or copy the fork for the purpose of evading this License; or e. exercise any right prohibited elsewhere in this License. 6. AUTHORIZED PLATFORMS The Licensor may authorize an Authorized Platform, including a source-code host or project-distribution service, to store, reproduce, process, cache, display, and distribute official copies of the Project as reasonably necessary to provide that platform's services. This Section applies only to official repositories, pages, and releases created or approved by the Licensor. It does not grant platform users any independent right to redistribute the Project except as otherwise expressly permitted by this License. 7. RESTRICTIONS Except as expressly permitted by Sections 3 through 6, you may not: a. publish, redistribute, reupload, mirror, sublicense, sell, rent, or otherwise provide copies of the Project; b. distribute modified versions, standalone forks, ports, unofficial updates, continuations, maintenance releases, replacement projects, or rebranded editions; c. host a separate download of the Project or a modified copy; d. remove, conceal, or misrepresent copyright, attribution, authorship, or license notices; e. claim ownership of the Project or any substantial portion of it; or f. use the Licensor's names, logos, icons, or branding in a manner likely to imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement. 8. CONTRIBUTIONS Unless a separate written contributor agreement applies, by intentionally submitting a contribution to an official repository for the Project, you grant the Licensor a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, sublicense, and relicense that contribution as part of the Project. You represent that you have the authority to grant these rights. 9. THIRD-PARTY MATERIALS Third-party code, libraries, assets, and other materials remain governed by their respective licenses. This License grants no rights in material the Licensor does not own or have authority to license. 10. TERMINATION Your rights under this License terminate automatically upon violation. If a first violation was unintentional, your rights are automatically reinstated if you completely cure the violation within thirty days after receiving written notice from the Licensor. Repeated, deliberate, or uncured violations require express written reinstatement by the Licensor. Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability. 11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY THE PROJECT IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSS, DAMAGE, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PROJECT OR ITS USE. 13. ADDITIONAL PERMISSION Any permission or exception not stated in this License must be granted in writing by the Licensor.
