# UI asset attribution

The pixel chrome in `pksm/` (buttons, bars, textboxes, stripes, icons) originates from
[PKSM](https://github.com/FlagBrew/PKSM) by FlagBrew, © 2016–2026 the FlagBrew contributors,
licensed GPL-3.0. PKForge is GPL-3.0-or-later; the assets are reused and adapted under that
license with gratitude for the most faithful 3DS-era storage UI ever built.

Pokémon species sprites are bundled from [PKHeX](https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX)
(PKHeX.Drawing.PokeSprite, GPL-3.0). Item art is fetched at runtime from
[PokeAPI](https://pokeapi.co) and cached on device.

Ribbon and mark artwork is bundled from
[PKHeX.Drawing.Misc](https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/tree/master/PKHeX.Drawing.Misc/Resources/img/ribbons)
under PKHeX's GPL-3.0 license. The Generation VIII infected and cured Pokérus status
sprites are sourced from the [Bulbagarden Archives](https://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Pok%C3%A9rus).
