# Privacy Policy for Toribash Enhancements

*Toribash Enhancements* ("the extension") is a browser extension that improves the
browsing experience on the Toribash forum (forum.toribash.com). This policy
explains how it handles data.

## Summary
The extension does not collect, store off your device, transmit, sell, or share
any personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking, and no server of its own.
Everything it does happens locally in your browser.

## What the extension accesses
To provide its features, the extension reads and modifies pages on
`forum.toribash.com` only. Specifically:

- It reads information already shown to you on the forum (such as your username
  and your in-game Toricredit / Shiai Token balances) and requests that same
  information from the Toribash forum's own API in order to display it back to
  you on the page. This data is fetched from and stays within Toribash's own
  site. It is never sent anywhere else.
- It stores your extension settings (such as theme and display toggles) and
  cached page elements (such as the forum navbar) using Chrome's storage. This
  data stays in your browser.
- It watches for stalled page navigations on the forum so it can offer a retry
  page when a page fails to load. This happens in real time and is not recorded
  or transmitted.

## Login data
The extension does not access, read, or use your password, security tokens,
authentication credentials, or email address. Some features fetch forum pages
you are already logged in to (for example, to read the navigation bar) using your
existing session, but the extension only re-uses the specific page elements it
needs for legitimate requests, and does not read or store any authentication 
tokens, CSRF tokens, or credentials contained in those pages. It also makes no 
attempt to access your device identifiers, other applications on your device, 
or other devices on your network.

## Third parties
The extension does not send your data to any third party. The only external
resource it loads is a font stylesheet from Google Fonts (`fonts.googleapis.com`)
to style the forum navbar; as with any web font, your browser's request to Google
exposes your IP address to Google for that request. The extension itself does not
collect or receive this information. It also loads images from Toribash's own
content CDN (`cache.toribash.com`).

## Data sale and transfer
The extension does not sell or transfer any user data to third parties, does not
use any data for purposes unrelated to its single purpose of enhancing the
Toribash forum, and does not use any data to determine creditworthiness or for
lending purposes.

## Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new
"Last updated" date.
