No code from upstream's CLI, proxy, engine, browse, MCP server, shrink, cavemem or extension is redistributed here. The third-party attributions in the upstream NOTICE (below) relate to that code, not to the skill texts. State changes (Apache License 2.0, section 4(b)) ----------------------------------------------- - index.js (new file): registers the upstream skill bodies with the DeepSeek Harness skill registry and APPENDS a "DSH runtime" section to each body at load time. That note states host facts upstream assumes differently: DSH has no caveman hook, so the active mode is conversational and is not stored; status answers must be marked "(not tracked by this host)"; usage and savings are unmeasured on this host; DSH has no task classifier, so the native-pack skills are model-invocable rather than classifier-gated. - skills/caveman-compress/SKILL.md (ADAPTED FILE, marked in its header): upstream ships a Python CLI that sends the file's text to the `claude` CLI, the Anthropic API or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. This port removes the external endpoint and the Python script; the session's own model rewrites the file locally, the backup goes to .caveman/backups/ outside the source tree, and scripts/verify-compress.mjs gates the overwrite. The compression rules and the list of preserved constructs are upstream's. - scripts/verify-compress.mjs (new file), test/, README.md, NOTICE, package.json, cordis.patch.yml, scripts/install-local.sh, scripts/uninstall-local.sh: new files for packaging, the local backup/gate workflow, the DSH bundle layer, tests and installation.
