🔒 Short version: We collect zero data. Everything you save stays on your device only. No servers, no accounts, no tracking.

1. Who We Are
Prompt Autocomplete is a Chrome browser extension that helps you save, organize, and reuse prompts across AI platforms. The extension is an independent product and is not affiliated with any AI company.

2. Data We Collect
We collect absolutely no personal data. The extension does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any information about you or your activity. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- The prompts you save or type
- Your browsing history or activity on any platform
- Usage statistics, analytics, or crash reports
- IP addresses or device identifiers
- Any form of personally identifiable information

3. Local Storage Only
All data created by the extension — including your saved prompts, tags, site assignments, pin states, and usage counts — is stored exclusively in Chrome's local extension storage on your own device using the standard chrome.storage.local API.
- Never leaves your device
- Never sent to any server
- Never accessible to us or any third party
- Deleted when you uninstall the extension

4. Permissions We Request and Why
storage — Saves your prompts locally on your device. No data leaves your device.

Host permissions — Required to inject the autocomplete UI into prompt input fields on supported AI platforms. The content script reads only the current value of the prompt input field to match against your saved prompts, and writes the selected prompt back into that same input when you click a suggestion. No other page content is read, stored, or transmitted. No AI responses are accessed. No user activity outside the prompt input is monitored.

5. Feedback Forms
The extension includes optional links to two external Tally.so forms — one for general feedback and one that opens automatically when you uninstall. These forms are completely optional. If you choose to submit a response, your answers are governed by Tally's own privacy policy. We do not link form responses to any personal identity. No data is collected from these forms automatically — only if you voluntarily fill them out and submit.

6. No Third-Party Services
The extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or external APIs. All core functionality runs entirely within your browser.

7. No Account Required
The extension works without creating an account or providing any personal information.

8. Children's Privacy
The extension collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our data practices, this policy will be updated before such changes take effect.
