ECI Ticker Display is a read-only browser extension that displays election round information on ECI (Election Commission of India) constituency pages.

## Data Collection

**This extension does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.**

Specifically:
- No user data is collected
- No browsing history is tracked
- No personal information is stored
- No analytics or tracking services are used
- No cookies are set by this extension

## What the Extension Does

The extension:
1. Reads publicly available constituency information from ECI result pages you visit
2. Fetches corresponding round data from our Supabase database
3. Displays this information in a small on-screen ticker

All data displayed is:
- Public information from ECI's official website
- Election round data from our database (not user-specific)
- Shown only to you on your local browser

## Permissions

The extension requires:
- **Host Permission** (`results.eci.gov.in`): To read constituency information from ECI pages and display the ticker overlay

The extension does NOT require:
- Access to your browsing history
- Access to your personal data
- Access to other websites

## Third-Party Services

The extension connects to:
- **Supabase** (wbkeaaoookrigeowhibt.supabase.co): To fetch election round data
- No user-identifying information is sent in these requests
- Only constituency identifiers are queried

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
