The document serves as a central reference for TSAP and is intended to provide consistent meanings for terms that appear in project documentation, policies, governance records, technical materials, and related publications. Definitions contained in this document are intended solely to clarify usage and interpretation. The inclusion of a term does not, by itself, confer any status, authority, right, responsibility, or obligation. ## Defined Terms ### Co-Founder A co-founder is a person who, together with one or more other individuals, participates in the establishment of a project, initiative, institution, or undertaking and is recognised as one of its founders. Tito Dutta participated in the establishment of TSAP alongside Sunil Abraham from October 2025 onwards and has played a central role in the project's development. Sunil Abraham has, on multiple occasions, referred to Tito Dutta as a co-founder of TSAP in conversations and correspondence. For example, in a message sent on 23 June 2026 introducing Tito Dutta to a collaborator and project team, Sunil Abraham described Tito Dutta as "a friend and co-founder of TSAP". As of the date of this document, the position of co-founder has not been formally defined within TSAP. Nevertheless, the historical record indicates that Tito Dutta participated in the establishment of the project and has been referred to as a co-founder by Sunil Abraham. ### Foundational Principles {% include main-article.html link="/tsap/foundational-principles/" title="TSAP Foundational Principles" %} The Foundational Principles are the permanent principles, commitments, and institutional characteristics that define the identity, purpose, structure, and historical continuity of TSAP. The Foundational Principles are recorded in the document *TSAP Foundational Principles*. Unlike ordinary policies, guidelines, procedures, technical decisions, editorial practices, or operational arrangements, the Foundational Principles are regarded as fundamental to the nature of the project itself. As provided in the Foundational Principles, the principles recorded therein are intended to be permanent and non-negotiable. ### Founder A founder is a person recognised as having established a project, initiative, institution, or undertaking. Founder status derives from the act of founding and forms part of the historical record of the entity concerned. Within TSAP, founder status is independent of subsequent roles, responsibilities, ownership, participation, or administrative authority. [Sunil Abraham](/sunil/) is the founder of TSAP and the project's sole founder. As provided in [Article 2](/tsap/foundational-principles/#article-2/) of the TSAP Foundational Principles, the founder status of Sunil Abraham forms part of the permanent historical record of the project and shall not be removed, reassigned, transferred, or reinterpreted. The authority and responsibilities associated with founder status are defined by the Foundational Principles and other applicable TSAP documents. ### Project Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, "Project" refers to The Sunil Abraham Project (TSAP). References to other projects, initiatives, undertakings, programmes, events, portals, archives, tools, services, or activities shall ordinarily be identified by their specific names. Examples include the Tikri Project, the Triple Under Utilisation Project, and other associated initiatives operating under TSAP. ### TSAP TSAP is the abbreviation and short form of *The Sunil Abraham Project*. The name "The Sunil Abraham Project" and the abbreviation "TSAP" were coined by Tito Dutta during the establishment of the project in 2025. During the initial months of the project, particularly in October and November 2025, most communication between Sunil Abraham and Tito Dutta took place through WhatsApp text messages, and the pronunciation of the abbreviation was not discussed. Subsequent conversations revealed that different pronunciations of "TSAP" were in use. Tito Dutta pronounced the abbreviation as individual letters, /ˌtiː ˌes ˌeɪ ˈpiː/ ("Tee Ess Ay Pee"), while Sunil Abraham commonly pronounced it as /tiː sæp/ ("Tee-sap"). No official pronunciation of TSAP has been adopted. Both pronunciations are regarded as valid within the project. ### Version {% include main-article.html link="/versions/" title="TSAP Versions" %} A version is a defined development cycle within TSAP used for planning, organising, and recording project work. Unless otherwise specified, versions ordinarily follow a weekly cycle beginning on Sunday. Versions are used to group related objectives, activities, improvements, and milestones undertaken during a particular period. They provide a structured framework for tracking the ongoing development of TSAP. The TSAP Versions record documents structural changes, content milestones, technical improvements, and other significant developments across successive versions, thereby providing a chronological record of the project's evolution.
