TSPA #0008 comic strip

## Transcript **Frame 1 - Ti:** "Often, I find myself not being a big fan of sound-based communication." **Frame 1 - Mi:** "Hm? Meow?" **Frame 2 - Ti:** "The languages we speak are essentially based on sound. We arrange sounds, put them into systems, and give meaning to individual sounds or combinations of sounds." **Frame 3 - Ti:** "But ultimately, they are mainly sounds. Quite often, I find myself not being a big fan of this medium of communication and expression." **Frame 3 - Mi:** "Meow!" **Frame 4 - Ti:** "There are many limitations. Simple expressions can take a lot of time, and sometimes they cannot be expressed properly. And perhaps words are too easy to manipulate, making it easy to distort meaning or be dishonest." **Frame 5 - Mi:** "So, you mean you often don't like talking, is that it?" **Frame 5 - Ti:** "Yes, you may say so..." **Frame 6 - Mi:** "See? You still had to talk to explain that you don't like talking. Ha ha!" **Frame 6 - Ti:** "Yes, unfortunately! But often, I find myself not being a big fan of sound-based communication." **Visual details:** Ti and Mi sit together on a sandy seashore throughout the six panels. Ti is thoughtful and increasingly expressive as he explains his ideas, while Mi reacts with curiosity and amusement. The final exchange is playful but remains grounded in the central idea of the strip.
