# Privacy Policy — go juggle

## What we collect

go juggle collects the minimum data required to run the game and its leaderboard.

| Data | Why |

| Display name | Your chosen in-game identity (2–20 characters, letters/numbers/underscores). Shown on the leaderboard. |
| Push notification token | Used only to send game notifications (see below). Collected only if you grant notification permission. |
| Notification preferences | Timezone and preferred time of day — used only to schedule notifications at an appropriate time. Collected only if you grant notification permission. |
| Gameplay data | Scores, session history, streak, and coin balance. Used to run the leaderboard and the in-game economy. |
| Custom ball photo submissions | Photos you voluntarily submit to design a custom ball skin. Stored privately and manually reviewed before any content is made visible to other players. |

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, browsing history, device identifiers, or any other personal information.

## What we do not do

- No ads. No ad networks. No ad tracking.
- No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar).
- No device fingerprinting or cross-app tracking.
- No Apple IDFA usage.
- No in-app purchases or payment data of any kind.
- No third-party data sharing or selling of any kind.

## Push notifications

If you grant notification permission, your Expo push token is stored on our servers and used exclusively to send:

1. **Weekly reminders** — a nudge to play
2. **Displacement alerts** — a notification when another player beats your leaderboard score
3. **Top-10 alerts** — a notification when your score enters the top 10

You can disable all notifications in iOS Settings → go juggle → Notifications, or within the app's settings menu. Disabling notifications removes you from the leaderboard and prevents your push token from being used further.

## Data storage

All data is stored in a Supabase-hosted Postgres database and object storage in the United States. Supabase's privacy and security practices are documented at [supabase.com/privacy](https://supabase.com/privacy).

## Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account from within the app via **Settings → Delete Account**. Upon deletion:

- Your account is deactivated and removed from the leaderboard immediately.
- Your push token is cleared immediately so no further notifications are sent.
- Your display name, gameplay data, and any submitted photos are deleted within 30 days.

## Children

go juggle is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

## Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
