# DeFeet Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DeFeet Discord bot (“DeFeet”, “the Bot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using DeFeet, you agree to these Terms.

## 1. The Service

DeFeet is a Discord bot that provides access to a database of images intended primarily as visual references for artists, including photographs depicting celebrities, influencers, and other public figures.

Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time.

## 2. Eligibility

You must be permitted to use Discord and DeFeet under the laws applicable to you.

You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using DeFeet.

DeFeet is not intended to provide sexual content involving minors. Images depicting or reasonably believed to depict anyone under 18 must not be submitted, requested, categorized, or used in a sexual or fetish context through the Service.

## 3. Acceptable Use

You may use DeFeet for lawful purposes, including obtaining visual references for drawing, anatomy study, artistic practice, research, and other personal uses permitted by law.

You must not:

- use DeFeet for unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or exploitative purposes;
- use the Service to sexualize, exploit, or target minors;
- attempt to access restricted systems, databases, credentials, or infrastructure;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download, systematically archive, or reproduce the image database without permission;
- circumvent rate limits, access restrictions, or other technical protections;
- use automated systems to place unreasonable loads on the Service;
- impersonate DeFeet or falsely claim an affiliation with DeFeet;
- use DeFeet to facilitate stalking, harassment, doxxing, or other invasions of privacy; or
- use the Service in violation of Discord's applicable rules.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.

## 4. Images and Third-Party Content

DeFeet may display photographs and other content depicting or created by third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, DeFeet does not claim ownership of third-party photographs, celebrity likenesses, trademarks, or other third-party intellectual property displayed through the Service.

The availability of an image through DeFeet does not grant you ownership of that image or a licence to reproduce, redistribute, sell, publish, commercially exploit, or otherwise use it beyond what is permitted by the relevant rights holder or applicable law.

Users are responsible for determining whether their intended use of an image is legally permitted.

## 5. Image Sources and Rights

We aim to respect copyright, privacy, publicity, and other applicable rights.

If you are a photographer, copyright owner, person depicted in an image, authorized representative, or other rights holder and believe content available through DeFeet infringes your rights or should otherwise be removed, you may submit a removal request through our designated contact or takedown process.

A request should identify the relevant image, explain your relationship to the content, and provide enough information for us to locate and assess it.

We may remove or restrict content while a request is reviewed. We may also permanently remove content at our discretion.

## 6. User-Submitted Content

If DeFeet permits users to submit images or other content, you represent that you have the necessary rights or lawful basis to submit that content for the purposes of the Service.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce, resize, and display submitted content solely as reasonably necessary to operate and improve DeFeet.

You remain responsible for content you submit.

We may reject or remove submissions at any time.

## 7. Public Figures and No Affiliation

The appearance or name of a celebrity, influencer, creator, photographer, brand, or other person within DeFeet does not imply that they endorse, sponsor, participate in, or are affiliated with DeFeet.

DeFeet is an independent service unless explicitly stated otherwise.

## 8. Availability

DeFeet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every image or piece of metadata is accurate, or that particular content will remain available.

Discord outages, API changes, third-party services, maintenance, and other circumstances may affect the Service.

## 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from your use of or inability to use DeFeet.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, guarantees, warranties, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

## 10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to DeFeet where reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, the Service, or third parties; comply with law; investigate misuse; or enforce these Terms.

You may stop using DeFeet at any time.

## 11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as DeFeet changes or as legal or operational requirements evolve.

Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where reasonably practicable. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.

## 12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of **[State/Territory and Country]**, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply to you under applicable law.
