# "Invalid session - Invalid cookie"

If you see "Invalid session - Invalid cookie", then that means that the cookie
value you have set in Mousehole is incorrect. Perhaps a typo was made when
entering it, or you copied the wrong value.

To fix this, follow these steps:

1. Go to the
   [MAM Security Settings page](https://www.myanonamouse.net/preferences/index.php?view=security).

2. Find your existing Mousehole session in the table and click the "View ASN
   locked session cookie" button.

3. In the popup, confirm that you want to view the cookie by pressing the "Ok"
   button.

4. Copy the cookie value on the shown page.

5. Back in Mousehole, paste the cookie into the text box and click the "Set"
   button.

6. Click the "Check Now" button.
