# DimWise Privacy Policy

DimWise does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information.

## What data is stored

DimWise stores your brightness preferences (enabled state, mode, strength, and per-site settings) using Chrome's built-in storage API (`chrome.storage.sync`). This data stays entirely within your browser and syncs only through your own Google account if Chrome Sync is enabled.

## What data is NOT collected

- No browsing history
- No page content or form data
- No cookies or authentication tokens
- No analytics or telemetry
- No personally identifiable information

## Third-party services

DimWise makes no network requests and uses no third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the changes will be reflected in this document with an updated date.
