# JamPacked Privacy Policy

JamPacked ("the app") is developed by Robert Lisiecki ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The short version: **JamPacked does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.** Everything you put into the app stays on your device.

## Information We Collect

**We do not collect any personal information.** JamPacked has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

## Data Stored on Your Device

All app data is stored locally on your device in a private database. This includes:

- Tunes and sheet music you import (ABC notation)
- Sets, tags, and variants you create
- App settings and preferences (such as your selected instrument)

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself. Uninstalling the app removes this data (subject to your operating system's behavior).

## Internet Access

JamPacked works fully offline. The app connects to the internet only when you explicitly use the tune search feature, which sends your search query to **thesession.org** to find and download tunes. These requests:

- Contain only the search terms and tune identifiers needed to fulfill your request
- Do not include any personal information or device identifiers added by the app
- Are subject to thesession.org's own privacy practices, which you can review at [https://thesession.org](https://thesession.org)

No other network connections are made by the app.

## Third-Party Services

Other than the user-initiated requests to thesession.org described above, JamPacked uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics providers, or advertising networks.

## Children's Privacy

JamPacked does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.

## Data Security

Because your data is stored only on your own device, its security depends on your device's own protections (such as device encryption and screen lock). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date.

## Your Rights

Since we do not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You have full control: your data lives on your device, and you can delete it at any time by removing songs within the app or uninstalling the app.

## Changes to This Policy

If the app's data practices ever change (for example, if a future version adds optional online features such as shared jam sessions), this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
