Macros ("the App") is an open-source nutrition and macro tracking application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. 

This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use Macros.

## 2. Information Collection and Storage
- **On-Device Local Data Storage**: All data entered into Macros—including logged meals, food items, macro targets, and personal settings—is stored locally on your device using local SQLite database storage.
- **No Third-Party Analytics or Tracking**: Macros does **not** collect, track, store, or transmit any personal data, analytics, diagnostics, location data, or usage metrics to external servers.
- **No User Account Required**: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal identification (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the App.

## 3. Network Usage
Macros operates offline-first. The App does not send your personal data across the network. If any external nutrition databases or open network APIs are queried in future updates, queries are executed directly from your device without attaching personal identifiers.

## 4. Children’s Privacy
Macros does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted by the App, no children's data is stored or processed.
