Dayfocus ("we", "our", or "the app") is a productivity app that helps you plan your day with intention. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

## Information We Collect

### Account Information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive:
- Your email address (or an Apple relay email if you choose "Hide My Email")
- Your name (optional, only if you provide it)

### App Data
We store your:
- Daily priorities and time blocks
- Brain dump notes
- App settings and preferences

### How Data is Stored
- **Local storage**: All your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite
- **Cloud sync** (optional): If you sign in, your data syncs to our secure servers (Supabase) so you can access it across devices

## How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:
- Provide the Dayfocus app functionality
- Sync your data across your devices (when signed in)
- Send you local notifications about your scheduled time blocks

We do **not**:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising
- Share your data with anyone except as required by law

## Data Security

- All cloud data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
- Data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security
- Only you can access your own data

We use the following services:

- Your data is retained as long as you have an account
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings
- Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app

## Children's Privacy

Dayfocus is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

## Your Rights

You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Export your data
- Delete your account and data
- Opt out of cloud sync (use the app offline only)

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
