@gz I don't know whether it's possible to beat the whole game by camping in one single spot as you'd like, but if they have done their job right, there will be many different ways to play it.

They decided not to do that (at least for PC): http://forums.eidosgames.com/showpost.php?p=1649045&postcount=1 Quote: "We’re aware of some discussion regarding the planned region-locking of boxed PC versions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and after careful review we have decided not to implement this in the UK/Europe/US/AUS. Please note, this plan only related to PC boxed games, and not digital or console editions."

I can't buy every single Nintendo console only to play one game. If only there was a website where I could check which of my friends own and would lend me their Wii ;).
