I'm ashamed to admit that I bought Portal 2 (over a month ago) but still haven't actually played it yet. I hear that it's amazing though. But more importantly, I don't think you'd be asking this question if you had played the original Portal (@516). It's being offered for free until tomorrow; get it! http://store.steampowered.com/app/400/

PSA: Portal is free until Sep 20th (tomorrow)! Spread the word to those poor souls who haven't played it yet. =) http://store.steampowered.com/app/400/

Welcome, Andy! Thanks for joining. =)

LOL!

Haha, indeed! I only asked because you added this as a "Have" instead of a "Want"! =D Re: Neo4j: Andreas did post a link to the slides; check your email (or the meetup page)! Unfortunately, they weren't super informative w/out the commentary.

Indeed! And very cool to hear about that usage! Thanks for the feedback. =)

Cool! I'm into bouldering myself. =) I climb semi-regularly at Stone Gardens w/ James (@modeless). We should all go sometime!

lol, welcome! Funny "other" section. =D You held true to your word!

Andrew, thanks for adding so much of your stuff! It's *so* cool seeing this aspect of your identity: your Beatles collection, your fine art (new use for us btw!), even your Mini Cooper. =) Is there anything else you've been wishing you could do on the site that you can't today?
-
Whoa, I just saw this — awesome! Didn't know you climbed!
-
Haha, wow indeed! It turns out there's a *double* rainbow maker too! @6564 =D

Welcome, Suresh Mama, and thanks for joining! How do you like the site so far? I'm impressed by your profile — you have some cool stuff! ;)

Do you really have an island? Or do you want one? ;)

Indeed — I myself use a mouse on my iMac too, a Logitech LX3 (@6559), but I haven't upgraded to Lion on this machine yet. I'll probably switch to the trackpad when I do. Btw, there's no reason you couldn't switch to any regular mouse for gaming; at least today, no games that I know of use multi-touch gestures. =)

I've tried both, and I like the Magic Trackpad better. The main reason is honestly just that I use my MacBook as often as my iMac, so w/ the Magic Mouse I was frequently mixing up gestures between the two. With the trackpad, not only do you have a consistent input, but the gestures also feel a lot more natural, since your fingers are already on the surface. My vote is thus definitely for the Magic Trackpad. =)
