I really enjoyed this book. It's not an instructional poker book, so don't approach it that way. It's more like a memoir, from a really interesting, and in many ways admirable, poker player. Barry Greenstein was also a software engineer before becoming a professional poker player, so that resonated with me, too. Overall, I enjoyed reading this and recommend it for people who are curious about the poker world from an educated point of view.

This is an interesting book. Gus Hansen is one of the players I always admired the most, because of his loose-aggressive play. I was excited to get an insight into his thinking, but this book is only for one particular tournament, and in that tournament he seemed to get pretty straightforward, good hands. I thus walked away not really feeling like I gained (m)any new insights. It was still an interesting read, I guess.

This was a really great, eye-opening book for me when it came to NLHE. The examples in particular are really helpful. Highly recommended.

This is the bible of low-limit hold 'em -- but be aware, it's for *limit* HE, not no-limit (NL). My copy of this book is totally ragged, filled with highlights and scribbles. If you want to play limit HE, this is *the* one must-read.

This is a *great* book -- consistently the one book I would always recommend to anyone interested in getting serious about poker. Highly recommended.
