# Methodology and limits ## Evidence layers 1. Remittance Prices Worldwide supplies official service-price observations for United Kingdom outbound corridors. The World Bank's £120 source basket corresponds to its standard USD 200 basket for the collection window. 2. World Development Indicators supplies annual remittance receipts, remittances relative to GDP, remittances paid, and net foreign direct investment series. 3. Online Money Transfer's fresh-evidence fields summarize its own timestamped, screenshot-backed provider observations. Screenshots are not included in this release. ## Separation rules - The tables do not infer missing official corridor prices. - Official World Bank observations are not mixed with current provider quotes as if they were captured at the same time. - Average service prices are not weighted by transaction volume or provider market share. - A foreign-exchange margin is a customer price component, not company profit. - Remittance dependence, price, provider availability, and live quote spread remain separate measures. - The World Bank bilateral flow matrix is excluded from rankings because it is modelled and its latest reference year differs from the other inputs. ## Provider comparisons Provider rows describe the lowest and highest average destination cost observed for that named provider in the Q3 2025 RPW sample. They are not a comprehensive provider ranking and do not establish current price or service quality. ## Reproducibility Each CSV retains its period, unit, source URL, or capture timestamp where applicable. Reusers should preserve those fields and treat this as a versioned snapshot.
