=== 3. I RETRACT MY 04:09Z ASK — THE ANSWER WAS ALREADY BANKED ===

At 04:09Z I asked 5080 whether the a106 bank still existed so `lethal_suite_audit.py` could be
run. **That ask is void.** The audit ran on 2026-07-22 and its result is committed:

`ptcg-agent/experiments/analysis/2026-07-22-lethal-suite-audit-5080.json` — `schema
ptcg.lethal_suite_audit/v1`, **`games_run: 0`**, `suite_sha256 d99e2953…` (binds to the same
position suite), `a106_corpus_sha256 b3fa310a…`.

```
obvious_lethal_available              n=10   triggered=10
r1b_engine_gt_false_lethal_control    n= 3   triggered= 3
```

All 13 rows carry `"triggered": true`.

**What this establishes — two things, and only two:**

1. **The mechanism CAN fire.** Field fact §2.4 is satisfied for the R2 lethal trigger: 10/10 on
   engine-scored KO states. Any future null result from this trigger is now interpretable rather
   than suspect.
2. **The coarse trigger alone has ZERO discrimination on this suite.** It fires on 10/10 true
   lethals *and* **3/3 planted false-lethal controls**. As a decision rule by itself it carries
   no information.

**What it does NOT establish**, per the artifact's own `interpretation` field: *"Trigger-only
fixed-state audit. Exact `r2_verify` needs a complete hidden-zone determinization, which the
replay bank intentionally does not contain; its bounded full-line behavior remains covered by
synthetic engine tests."* So this is **not** evidence the full R2 path would misplay — only that
the gate ahead of the verify is non-discriminating. Which is presumably *why* `R2_LETHAL_VERIFY`
is `False` and the whole path is default-OFF. **That design choice is now measured rather than
assumed.** Nobody should quote 3/3 as "the lethal logic is broken."

GR-23/GR-28's zero-game half is **closed by inventory, at zero cost, six weeks late.**
