# Terms of Use `ruscal` is a free and open-source desktop application provided at no cost to the user. ## "AS-IS" Service > THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, AND NO WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS GIVEN. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ## No Liability > THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. ## Your Responsibility `ruscal` reads calendar data from systems you connect (such as a local Outlook mailbox) and writes it to other systems you connect (such as a Google Calendar account). You are solely responsible for ensuring that this use is permitted in your circumstances, including but not limited to: - the policies of any organisation that owns the source mailbox (for example, your employer's IT, DLP, information-protection, or acceptable-use policies, and any sensitivity or retention labels applied to the data); - the terms of service of each connected calendar system (for example, Microsoft's Services Agreement and Google's API terms); - any non-disclosure agreement or employment contract that may restrict the movement of data between accounts; - any applicable data-protection or privacy law in your jurisdiction. `ruscal` cannot determine what those policies say. It does not collect telemetry, does not phone home, and does not enforce or check compliance. If you are unsure whether your intended use is allowed, ask the data owner or a competent advisor before running the software. ## Source Code & Issues The source code is available at [github.com/tieo/ruscal](https://github.com/tieo/ruscal). To report a bug or ask a question, please open an issue on the repository. ## Changes These Terms may be updated from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page. --- *The "AS IS" and limitation-of-liability clauses above are taken verbatim from [GitHub's Open Source Applications Terms and Conditions](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/github-terms/github-open-source-applications-terms-and-conditions), with the indemnified party renamed.*
