Chat On Steroids is maintained by [@totec448-spec](https://github.com/totec448-spec) and built with contributions from the community.

Some contributions were adapted into maintainer snapshot commits and their original PRs were closed without preserving GitHub commit attribution. That was our mistake. Reworking a patch does not erase its author's contribution. The record below restores explicit credit and links to the original work.

The resume-timeout reproduction from [#274](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/274)
is retained with an exclusive-send regression: an unnamed resume keeps its dispatch custody
instead of reporting success or automatically resending after a transport banner. The original
banner-driven resend and process-local retry counter were not incorporated.

The September 18 dirty-tree review incorporates and adapts [@Maximapple](https://github.com/Maximapple)'s
page-model health reporting ([#284](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/284)),
draft-preserving recovery ([#286](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/286)),
Windows accessibility test allowance ([#288](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/288)),
bounded recovery-refusal logging ([#289](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/289)),
Markdown-escaped continuation readback ([#291](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/291))
and the unread-output receipt regression ([#292](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/292)).
The receipt test observes completed publication before the next invocation instead of repeatedly
trying commands. Draft protection uses the existing document/claim checks, including compaction.
The marker readers accept punctuation escapes while retaining literal brief text and rejecting
escapes before letters or digits. Recovery handout/result logging from
[#280](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/280) is incorporated; its additional
blind-reload detector and request-based attempt counter are not. This is an adapted source
integration, not a claim that those seven PR branches were merged unchanged.

The follow-up review on September 18 also adapts [@Maximapple](https://github.com/Maximapple)'s
compaction for an oversized chat whose page no longer reports a turn
([#295](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/295)) and the fifteen-second
health-reporting grace in [#284](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/284).
Compaction uses the existing exactly attributed MCP activity grant and rechecks it after
storage reads. Health observations share one bounded map, including unannounced first sightings.
The stacked blind-page reload subsystem from #280 is not added.

The September 19 review adapts [@Maximapple](https://github.com/Maximapple)'s
departed-chat Continue diagnosis ([#298](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/298)),
historical worker wait-caption fix ([#299](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/299)),
and wake expiry diagnostics and delivery allowance ([#305](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/305)).
The outbox repair retains exact late receipts and authored queue entries; it does not release
uncertain sends by age. Waiting captions use live workers without changing historical counts.
Timer and maintenance expiry share one diagnostic and a bounded, non-replaying wake attempt.

[@okayamajwcc-coder](https://github.com/okayamajwcc-coder) / Masatoshi Shisaka contributed the
Windows target-thread focus repair ([#308](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/308)).
It is adapted with cleanup covering attachment exceptions and the existing actual foreground
checks. The September 19 review left the separate macOS input-validation proposal in #309 open;
the September 20 review below incorporates only its contradictory-window-ID correction.

The September 19 backlog integration also adapts [@Maximapple](https://github.com/Maximapple)'s
reporting-gap correction in [#284](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/284),
missing-tab worker wake and parked-prime recovery in [#314](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/314),
and marked-continuation diagnostics in [#315](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/315).
The wake adaptation rechecks command ownership, live message debt and cancellation after storage reads;
marker diagnostics report commitment only after settlement. These adaptations retain the existing
browser recovery and continuation owners.

The September 20 selective review incorporates [@cXSHoz](https://github.com/cXSHoz)'s
catalogued IPC-error toast translation from [#331](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/331).
It adapts [@Maximapple](https://github.com/Maximapple)'s stalled-connect shutdown diagnosis and
drain protection from [#324](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/324), using
one shared teardown without the proposed grace timer or optional-connector policy change.
It also incorporates [@okayamajwcc-coder](https://github.com/okayamajwcc-coder) / Masatoshi Shisaka's
contradictory AX window-ID guard from [#309](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/309).
The larger off-Space/focus change remains unincorporated. Exact source revisions, validation,

The September 22 follow-up incorporates [@PourrezJ](https://github.com/PourrezJ)'s French
translation from [#369](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/369). Its
1,431 translated entries are retained with one wording correction; 21 newer strings are
added independently. Integration preserves Turkish and the existing language controls,
drafts and preference storage. Validation is recorded in
[the follow-up worklog](docs/worklog-2026-09-22-french-locale.md).

[@ayhanmalkoc](https://github.com/ayhanmalkoc)'s Turkish translation (#366), and
[@Haz4rdovisk](https://github.com/Haz4rdovisk)'s installer-close correction from #345.
The adaptations reuse the existing outbox, refresh ledger, sidebar order and locale owners.
Independent fixes also address the cancellation, adopted-Astra input and scrolling reports

that was implemented separately.

[@Maximapple](https://github.com/Maximapple)'s exit-hang report in
[#325](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/pull/325) prompted an Electron 44.3.0
source and isolated-process check. Its immediate `SIGKILL` chain is not incorporated:
Electron maps `process.exit()` back to `app.exit()`, and returning from that call can precede
a successful normal process exit. This credits the report without attributing an adopted fix.

[@TomerGamerTV](https://github.com/TomerGamerTV)'s slow observation-journal report in
[#301](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/issues/301) led to the independently
implemented per-delivery timeout correction and durable retry regressions. General request
deadlines and server request-body/header limits were not increased.

[@redzrush101](https://github.com/redzrush101) and [@ehkogh](https://github.com/ehkogh)
reported the model-discovery and alternate-interface failures in
[#311](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/issues/311).
@redzrush101's structural screenshot identified alternate reasoning-control anchors used by
the independently implemented compatibility tests. The timeout and selection changes do not
claim complete validation of that account's different editor or missing-message behavior.
Their follow-up report and privately supplied page captures also identified the remaining
Markdown-editor and user-bubble differences. Public fixtures use synthetic text and identities;
the captures and account/session material are not included in the repository.

[@raxy24](https://github.com/raxy24)'s report in
[#262](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/issues/262) led to the independently
implemented fix for stale assignment metadata when reusing a sleeping worker.

[@Bemirror99](https://github.com/Bemirror99)'s model-picker focus diagnostics in
[#256](https://github.com/totec448-spec/chat-on-steroids/issues/256) led to an independently
implemented bounded picker-close check before helper/composer preparation continues.

[@ferrarinobrakes](https://github.com/ferrarinobrakes) reported the replacement-session collision

resume-commit regression and recorder admission fix.

The September 2026 attribution correction adds a new public record and retroactive co-author credit for incorporated work.
