# LICENSE-FAQ

_This FAQ is for convenience only and does not override the legal text of the EULA or BUSL license._

2FAS Pass uses a **dual licensing approach**:

### Source Code (Public Repository)
- **License:** Business Source License 1.1 (BUSL-1.1)
- **Automatic transition:** Each version becomes GPL v3.0 after 2 years
- **Permitted:** Individual learning, development, testing, and educational
- **Restricted:** Production use, commercial use, business use, and any 
  use that provides services to others

### Official Applications (App Stores)
- **License:** End User License Agreement (EULA)  
- **Commercial use:** **Fully permitted** for businesses of any size
- **No restrictions:** Use freely in your company, with employees, for business purposes
- **Subscriptions:** Available in mobile applications

**For developers:** Source code is available for learning, testing, and educational.
**For end users:** Download our official apps and use them freely - including for business!
