Here is how we use Chrome extension permissions to provide features:
- **Storage**: We use the `storage` permission to store your local configuration preferences (e.g., active capture mode, destination path, and active recording state) on your own device.
- **Active Tab & Tab Capture**: We use the `activeTab` and `tabCapture` permissions to access the video and audio stream of the active tab when you explicitly trigger the Extension. This stream is processed locally inside your browser to generate your screenshots and video recordings.
- **Scripting**: We use the `scripting` permission to inspect page dimensions of `<video>` elements to crop screenshots accurately.
- **Offscreen**: We use the `offscreen` API to process WebRTC streams locally on your device to export media.
