# Vision

`VISION.md` is the durable doctrine owner. Read it before making product,
architecture, public-API, CLI, data-model, or workflow decisions.

## Rule

- Treat vision as a decision filter, not a feature backlog.
- Prefer repository evidence over memory and temporary discussion.
- Record new durable doctrine in `VISION.md`; put implementation detail in docs,
  plans, PRDs, milestones, ADRs, or source owners.
- If source truth contradicts the vision, stop and resolve the contradiction
  explicitly. Do not quietly pick one.
- Use `sync-vision` to audit drift and advance the recorded baseline.
