# C# Third Person Platformer ![](../../samples/img/cs_component_sample.jpg) *C# Third Person Platformer* showcases the capabilities of the [C# Component System](../../principles/component_system/component_system_cs/index.md). A simple third-person shooter game demonstrates performance and flexibility of the logic system using familiar concepts. Programming is easy: application logic is implemented in components that can be assigned to any nodes in the virtual world to extend their functionality. To launch this demo: - Install one of the following IDEs to work with the source code: - **[Visual Studio Code](https://code.visualstudio.com/download)**, recommended (C# extension is required) - **Visual Studio 2022** - Download and install *[.NET](https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/6.0)*. - Open **SDK Browser**, go to the *Samples* tab, and click *Copy as Project* under this Demo. If the option is not available, you should [install](../../sdk/index.md#samples) the *C# Third Person Platformer* demo. ![](copy_as_project.png) - Then go to the *My Projects* tab and click *Open Editor* under the created project to open it in *[UnigineEditor](../../editor2/index.md)*. ![](open_editor.png) - In *UnigineEditor* run the project via the *Play* button. ![](play_editor.png) ## Features - [C# Component System](../../principles/component_system/component_system_cs/index.md) using new refactored C# API - Interaction between components - User inputs handled using the *[Input](../../api/library/controls/class.input_cpp.md)* class - Custom third-person player controller - Visual effects, animations, [particles](../../objects/effects/particles/index.md), [sounds](../../objects/sounds/index.md), and [navigation](../../objects/navigations/navigation/index.md) **SDK Path:***/demos\csharp_third_person_platformer_demo_2.21\* ## Accessing Demo Source Code You can study and modify the source code of this demo to create your own projects.
