A router picks the best available model, fails over on rate limits, rotates keys and tracks per-key usage so you stay inside every free-tier cap. This image is the official upstream image plus a small entrypoint that generates the required ENCRYPTION_KEY on first start, so no terminal step is needed. The key is stored in your appdata folder as .encryption-key - back it up together with the database. Builds track upstream stable releases automatically; update through Unraid's Docker tab as usual. FIRST START: open the WebUI. Because you reach it from another device, FreeLLMAPI asks for a one-time setup code printed in the container log (Docker tab, container icon, Logs). Then create the admin account, add provider keys on the Keys page and copy the unified freellmapi-... key for your clients.
