Almost every Laser printer is equipped with a HP Laserjet Pro M452dn Toner Cartridge that is instrumental in printing your documents or images. It is essential to buy a quality toner ink before refilling the toner cartridge. Ensure that you collect a star-cut screwdriver, soft cloth, a newspaper sheet or any waste-sheet, any sharp edged driver and a quality toner ink bottle.
- The foremost step after pulling the toner from a HP Laserjet Pro M452dn printer is to open the screw of the side cover.
- Now, take the side cover off and then take out the drum unit. Carefully hold it from a white portion(gear) and pull it in the direction instructed.
- Remove PCR roller, then slightly push PCR rod to right-side with some sharp-edged tool and then move PCR slightly upward and take it out leftwards.
- Now, separate the waste unit and ink unit, which are joined together with the help of pins on both sides of the cartridge.
- After pushing pin from inside, you need to get it out from the outer side. Carefully remove the spring located on the left-side of the cartridge.
- Now, set-apart two main units of the cartridge i.e., a waste unit and the ink-unit. Remove spring on the right-side and then remove the plastic cover.
- To get apart the wiper-blade, you need to remove the screws of the waste unit. Now, remove the waste-Ink which was collected in the unit.
- Open Wiper-Blade, then clean the waste collector unit and Blade part. Clean the Wiper-Blade with a soft cloth and not with a brush.
- Now, re-assemble the waste-unit part. First, you need to fit the wiper-blade and then the plastic cover.
- You need to re-fit plastic cover so that it fixes into the cut/groove and then fit the spring back to its position.
- Now, open it and fill the HP M452dn Ink (dry) in it, then close it and finally re-assemble the two units which were separated earlier.
- After removing the side cover, you may observe a white plastic cover. Ensure that you remove this and fill the toner-ink.
- Shake the Ink Bottle before use and after removing the cap of the bottle you can close the cap.
- Now, ensure that you align the Waste unit and ink unit. Also, reinsert PINS that you plugged out from both sides.
- After reinserting the pins, you can insert PCR roller and then install Drum-Unit back to its position.
- These cartridges will be inside the front door. Ensure that you do not remove the toner cartridge from its package until it is time to install it.
- In order to prevent damage to the HP Laserjet Pro M452dn Toner Cartridge, ensure that you do not expose it to light for more than a few minutes.
- Take out and replace the toner cartridges. Press the button on the left panel to open the front door.
- Carefully hold the blue handle on the toner cartridge drawer and then pull out the drawer.
- Now, grasp the handle on the toner cartridge and then pull the toner cartridge straight up to remove it.
- Take out the new toner cartridge package from the box and then ensure that you pull the release tab on the packaging.
- Now, remove the toner cartridge from the opened package. Carefully rock the toner cartridge from front to back to evenly distribute it.
- Ensure that you do not touch the imaging drum on the bottom of the cartridge. Note that fingerprints on the imaging drum may cause print quality problems.
- Make sure that you do not expose the cartridge to light unnecessarily. Now, close the front door.
- You need to pack the used toner cartridge in the package that the new cartridge came in.
- Adhere the pre-paid shipping label to the box, and then you need to return the used cartridge to HP for recycling (where available).
- Once you reinstalling drum, you need to fit the side-cover and then finally re-insert the Spring.
- It is advisable to have a replacement cartridge available to install when the print quality is no longer acceptable.
- You need to scroll to the bottom of the page and verify if the country/region is correct.
- Note that the printer uses four colors and has a different HP Laserjet Pro M452dn Toner Cartridge for each color: yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), and black (K).
