# Terms of Use

Effective September 28, 2026.

Use Cerberus only against systems you own or are explicitly authorized to
assess. You are responsible for authorization, deployment security, target
impact, and all activity through your installation.

This restriction includes active Nuclei, ZAP, and sqlmap testing. You are also
responsible for the costs and terms of any model provider used to analyze scan
findings.

Cerberus is an automated diagnostic. Results can be incomplete or inaccurate
and are not a guarantee of security, compliance, or fitness for any purpose.
Test descriptions explain what automated checks observe and why those signals
may matter. They do not prescribe remediation, recommend a course of action,
or constitute legal, compliance, insurance, engineering, or professional
security advice. You are responsible for independently validating findings and
deciding whether and how to act.
The software, reports, and documentation are provided as is, without a support
contract, maintenance promise, or SLA.

The AGPL-3.0 license grants software rights and controls copying, modification,
and distribution. The complete license is in [LICENSE](LICENSE). Cerberus and
CTF Designs names and logos may not be used to imply endorsement.
