## Issues

Search existing issues before opening a new one. For bugs, include reproduction
steps, expected and actual behavior, and the relevant browser, operating system,
and package versions. A small reproducible example is especially helpful.

For larger changes, open an issue to discuss the approach before starting work.

## Pull requests

See the [development instructions](README.md#development) for setup and common
commands. Keep changes focused and describe the problem they solve. Add or
update tests when behavior changes, update relevant documentation, and run the
checks appropriate to your change before opening a pull request.
