This is a source distribution for DOS. All files have DOS line endings and some additional scripts are provided. I have also included two versions of PCTIMER from http://technology.chtsai.org/pctimer/. If you use DJGPP and want to compile the standard version, just run: dosmake.bat If that fails, make sure you have all of the following packages installed. You can also install bash and run "make" to see if that works better. gcc*b.zip bnu*b.zip mak*b.zip fil*b.zip pdcur*b.zip Edit config.mk if you want to disable any features, etc. If you have bash installed, you can run "bash configure ..." instead. Example: bash configure curses 2p= menu= See INSTALL for more information. To compile with Turbo C 2.01 or Turbo C++ 1.01, follow these steps: 1. Unzip pctime13.zip. 2. Uncomment the line "#CC = tcc" in config.mk. 3. Uncomment "#INPUT_SYS = conio" as well. 4. Comment out "CURSES = y" and "LDLIBS = -lpdcurses ...". 5. Change the lines at the end of config.mk to: PCTIMER = tcint8 PCTIMER_INC = -I.. 6. Make sure that no other make is in your path, or set MAKE=\tc\bin\make for example. 7. Run dosmake.bat. Then run tetris.exe. If you get garbled text, press ESC. You need to load the ansi.sys driver in config.sys. Add the following line and reboot. device=c:\dos\ansi.sys
