# Make It Yours
The default experience is great. But you might want it perfect.
Customize every pixel.
## Cinema Mode
Why view the future through a tiny keyhole?
Voyager lets you expand the chat width.
- **Chat width**: In the popup, turn on **Page layout** → **Chat Width** first. It's off by default, and the slider shows under the row once it's on. The slider then goes from 30% to 100% of the window (70% by default). Go wide for code and complex tables, narrow for reading.
- **Edit input width**: Turn on **Page layout** → **Edit input width** first, then widen the box you get when editing a sent message.
## Control
Click the extension icon to access the control center.
- **Scroll mode**: In **Timeline** → **Show Timeline**, `Flow` scrolls smoothly to the message; `Jump` goes there instantly.
- **Timeline position**: In **Timeline** → **Show Timeline**, turn on **Draggable Timeline** and move it where it feels right. **Reset Timeline Position** puts it back.
- **Visual Effects**: On Gemini and AI Studio, switch on **Page layout** → **Visual effects**, then pick `Snow`, `Sakura`, or `Rain` under the row; switch it off to turn the effect off. On other sites (Claude, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Kimi, and custom sites) the same row sits in that site's **Plugins** card, once Voyager runs there (Prompt Manager or a plugin turned on for the site).
## Custom Order
Too many sections in the popup, and the ones you use most are buried at the bottom?
Hover over any settings card and ▲/▼ arrows appear in the top-right corner. Click to move a card up or down. Your layout is saved automatically and persists across sessions.
Features are grouped into topic cards (Page layout, Sidebar, Timeline, Answer content, and so on), and a feature's options show right under its switch once it is on. The search box and the row of card names under it stay at the top while you scroll; click a name to jump to that card. Flipped a switch by mistake? Press **Undo** in the message at the bottom.
## Voyager Panel
Tired of opening the popup? Hover the floating button and click **Voyager panel**, or press ⌥V / Alt+V, to turn the current site's features on and off right on the page, with live slider previews. See [Voyager Panel](/en/guide/panel).
