PeekUI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension operates regarding your data.

1. Data Collection and Usage
PeekUI operates entirely locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, distribute, or sell any of your personal data, browsing history, or the UI elements you inspect.

2. Local Storage
When you use the "Stash" feature to save UI components, this data (including element names, URLs, and CSS/Tailwind code) is saved securely and exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). It never leaves your machine.

3. Permissions

Storage: Used solely to save your inspected items locally.

ActiveTab / Scripting / Host Permissions: Used strictly to inject the visual inspector tool into the webpage you choose to inspect.

ClipboardWrite: Used only to copy generated CSS/Tailwind code to your clipboard upon your explicit request.

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top.
