hipfire is licensed under the Apache License 2.0 (see LICENSE-APACHE).

Some individual source files remain under the MIT License (see
LICENSE-MIT), because their substantive authors have not elected
Apache-2.0 for their own contributions. Those files are identified by
their per-file `SPDX-License-Identifier` header, and their MIT grant is
preserved unchanged. MIT is compatible with, and freely combinable
into, an Apache-2.0 work; MIT's conditions are a strict subset of
Apache License 2.0 § 4.

Redistributing hipfire therefore requires satisfying Apache License
2.0 § 4 for the work as a whole — including shipping a readable copy of
NOTICE — and preserving the MIT copyright and permission notices on the
files that carry an MIT SPDX header.
