App: Molly Digicam Photo Filters

Molly Digicam Photo Filters ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what the App collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. Summary
- Your photos and videos are edited on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- The App collects anonymous usage analytics through PostHog, an analytics service, so we can see which features are used and whether things like saving and purchasing work.
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier.
- We do not show ads, sell your data, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. Camera, Microphone, and Photo Library
- Camera: used to take photos and record videos with the App's live camera presets.
- Microphone: used only while you record video, so your videos have sound.
- Photo Library: you choose photos to edit with Apple's photo picker, so the App only receives the items you select. When you save, the App asks for permission to add photos and videos to your library. The App never changes or deletes your originals.
All editing happens on your device. Some effects, such as Perfect Skin, detect the people in a photo so they can be adjusted separately from the background; this also happens entirely on your device and is never stored or sent anywhere. Your photos, videos, any text you add to photos, and their file names or metadata are never uploaded or included in analytics.

3. Data Stored on Your Device
Photos in the App's gallery, your edit recipes, and your app settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete them or delete the App. When you share a photo, it goes only to the app or person you choose.

4. Analytics
To understand how the App is used, fix problems, and improve features, the App sends the following to PostHog:
- App usage: when the App is installed, opened, or closed; screens opened; which filters, effects, editing tools, and camera presets and controls you use; gallery actions such as selecting or deleting photos (counts only); and whether imports, captures, saves, and shares succeed or fail (with a technical error type).
- Subscription activity: when the subscription screen opens and what opened it, which plan you select and whether it includes a free trial, whether a purchase or restore completes, is cancelled, is pending, or fails, and whether you have Molly+.
- Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language and region settings, time zone, screen size, and whether you are on Wi-Fi or cellular.
- A random identifier the App creates on your device so events from the same installation can be grouped. It is not your Apple ID or an advertising identifier, and it resets if you delete the App.
- Your IP address, which PostHog receives when the App sends data and may use to estimate an approximate location (such as country or city).
This data is not linked to your name or any account, and we do not use it for advertising. PostHog processes it on our behalf as a service provider, on servers in the United States, and is required to protect it at least as well as this policy describes.

5. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions (weekly and yearly). Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store, and we never receive your payment card details. The App checks your purchase status with Apple on your device to unlock Molly+ features. Apple handles purchase data under its own privacy policy.

6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the service providers described above, or when required by law.

7. Data Retention and Deletion
Analytics data is kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Because it is tied to a random identifier rather than to you, we usually cannot tell which data is yours, but you can email us with a deletion request and we will do what we can. Deleting the App removes everything stored on your device and resets the analytics identifier.

8. Your Choices
- Camera, microphone, and photo access: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera, Microphone, or Photos > Molly
- Subscriptions: iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions
- Analytics: deleting the App stops all data collection. You can also email us with any request about your data.

9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The Effective Date above shows the latest version.
