They come to 2,482 verses in 22 books: Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Jonah, Zephaniah, Zechariah, the Wisdom of Solomon, Matthew and Revelation. Sixteen of these books are new to the library. Each chapter was translated whole, not only the verses the canon quotes, and from the original language: the Masoretic Hebrew for the Hebrew Bible, the Greek of the Septuagint for the Wisdom of Solomon, and the Greek New Testament for Matthew and Revelation. Every chapter went through the project's translation pipeline, from draft to editor and independent reviewer, and was signed off by hand before publication. A shared glossary keeps one rendering for one word across the books, and each choice is recorded with its reasons. The canon's citations are now links. In *The Book Which Tells the Truth* and the other two books, a citation such as "(Exodus, III-2)" opens the verse it cites in the new translation. ## Why it matters for the canon *The Book Which Tells the Truth* is, among other things, a close reading of the Bible. It quotes chapter and verse, and its argument turns on words that later translation changed, beginning with the plural *Elohim* that became a singular "God". For most of these chapters, a reader who wanted to check that reading had to rely on translations made within the very tradition the canon corrects. The new translation gives that reader the text on its own terms. It renders the Hebrew plainly: Psalm 8:6 reads "a little less than Elohim", where the Greek and the King James Version have "angels"; Elijah "went up in the whirlwind to the heavens" (2 Kings 2:11); Ezekiel's wheels look "as if a wheel were within a wheel" (Ezekiel 1:16); and in Zechariah's vision two winged women lift the ephah "between the earth and the skies" (Zechariah 5:9). The canon's own readings of these passages appear beside the traditional and critical ones, in notes marked as Wheel of Heaven readings. The translated line itself makes no claim the source does not make. ## Update: the last eleven chapters A final check of the citations turned up eleven cited chapters that the program's first list missed: Leviticus 17 and 25, Numbers 11, Joshua 3, Judges 7, 2 Samuel 6, Micah 5, Tobit 12, Wisdom 6, Revelation 5 and 1 Thessalonians 5. They went through the same Translator, Editor, Reviewer and sign-off pipeline and were published on November 2, 2026. Five books are new to the library: Leviticus, 2 Samuel, Micah, Tobit and 1 Thessalonians. Every biblical chapter cited in the three books is now translated: 98 chapters. The [Reference corpus of the Raëlian canon](/wiki/reference-corpus-of-the-raelian-canon/) lists every cited chapter, book by book, with a link to its translation.
