# Problem Car Scene Draft Example

Old Chen drove with both hands close to the wheel. Xu Li sat in the front passenger seat, leaning toward him from time to time, her fingers brushing his sleeve when the car slowed at the light.

Lao Gao looked from the front row toward Yanzi in the back. Between him and Yanzi stood the dark soundproof glass, reflecting the rain on the window and cutting her voice into a blur.

Yanzi lowered her eyes. Her flat shoes were tucked under the rear seat, toes turned inward.

The car did not stop. No one opened a door. No one changed seats.

Later, Lao Gao was somehow beside Yanzi in the rear seat, close enough to touch her directly. Yanzi shifted her high heels against the floor mat and turned away from him.
