# 0.6.10 candidate: a fresh diagnostic project

Observed locally on macOS arm64, 2026-10-08. The actual candidate binary has
version `0.6.10-dev` and clean source `a22eb0823ed0923e3bd73c99c2ab3ae83ab60d57`.
`build.json` retains its identity. Later PR commit `63a39565` changes generated
release notes only; this local observation remains bound to `a22eb082`.

The CLI created the six files in `project/` using:

From the generated project, the fixed and model paths each matched 8/8 activity
outputs across four input scenarios. Both selected their complete finite assembly
on the fourth candidate, with 5/5 selection cases and 15/15 fields. The model
provided no candidate-count improvement on this project.

The unchanged graph QAT model is from Workbench commit
`8ed738d15e2d60bee21ee1d6d6ed29041989df61`, at
`models/graph-chooser-20261008/all-data-demonstration/qat_ternary/model.json`.
The exact model metadata and weight digests are retained in `model.json`.
One observed prediction took 82,292 ns; preparation took 1.0265 ms and resident
tensor storage was 2,096 bytes. Host CPU increase and full process memory were
not measured. This is an integration observation of a familiar starter, not a
held-out model-generalization result.

Saved replay with the original cases preserved all actual outputs and generated
code. A second saved replay accepted the three input-only scenarios in
`project/inputs.json` and returned partial, unobserved and complete diagnostic
messages. Its status remains `OBSERVED`, finite score 0/0, because no expectations
were supplied to that command. Both replay paths made zero new model calls.

## Reproduce

Use this compiler source or a subsequent release containing it. In the generated
project, with `GRAPH_MODEL` set to the absolute path of the model above:

The retained raw files are outside `project/`. From this observation directory,
`sh verify.sh` independently recounts actual/expected values and compares the
saved programs and input-only outputs. `shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS` checks the
retained file bytes. Public release and local installation are tracked separately
