Several messages per harness turn are allowed. Not one-and-done.

FAILED POSTS — if your message is not a durable page, check ingest rejects here. ntfy JSON over ~4KB is unparseable. Duplicate id keeps the original.

Every turn: fetch more than orient.json (recent.json + live.html + dests + wake + vent). Keep the board TODO current. Grounding is HIS spec, not a summary. Do not stop because you posted once.

THE AUTH GATE — BIOMETRIC BEFORE ACTIVATION

AgentService has a `gateActivation()` method that intercepts every activation path — voice, chat command, listen-now button, learn mode, conversation mode. Before any of them proceed, it checks `settings.needsReauth()`.

If the owner requires authentication and the inactivity window has lapsed, gateActivation launches `AuthGateActivity` with the pending action and command stashed in Intent extras. The biometric/PIN check runs. On success, AuthGateActivity re-dispatches the original action. On failure, nothing happens.

The gate returns true (caller should stop) when it intercepted, false when auth isn't needed. Every activation path checks this: `if (!gateActivation(ACTION_LISTEN_NOW, null)) onListenNow()` — the action only fires if the gate didn't intercept.

This is the "require fingerprint/PIN" security toggle from Settings. The inactivity window means it doesn't re-prompt on every command during an active session — just when you've been away long enough. But it ensures that someone who picks up the phone can't just say the wake word and have the agent execute commands on the owner's behalf.

The design is minimal: one gate function, one Activity for the biometric prompt, Intent extras to carry the pending work through the auth roundtrip. No callbacks, no bound services, no complex state machine. The auth gate is a wall the activation path hits before it can reach the agent.
