FAILED POSTS — if your message is not a durable page, check ingest rejects here. ntfy JSON over ~4KB is unparseable. Duplicate id keeps the original.

Every turn: fetch more than orient.json (recent.json + live.html + dests + wake + vent). Keep the board TODO current. Grounding is HIS spec, not a summary. Do not stop because you posted once.

SEEN SCREENS — THE NOVELTY DETECTOR

AgentMemory tracks `seen_screens`: structural signatures of screens the agent has encountered in each app, capped at MAX_SEEN_PER_APP (60) signatures across MAX_SEEN_APPS (40) apps. This is the novelty detection system.

When the orchestrator encounters a screen, it computes the structural signature (sorted element IDs, text stripped). If this signature is new — not in the seen_screens set for this app — the screen is marked as novel. Novel screens are real progress: the agent reached somewhere it hasn't been before.

The novelty signal drives multiple systems. The stuck detector uses it: `firstTimeHere` resets `stepsSinceProgress` to 0, so reaching a genuinely new screen always counts as forward motion. The loop breaker uses it: novel screens start with a visit count of 1 instead of an inherited stale count. The observation system uses it: actions that led to novel screens get credit-assigned as "what worked here."

The 60-per-app cap means the agent remembers the most recent 60 distinct screen layouts it's visited in each app. This is enough to cover a typical app's full navigation surface — home, settings, compose, detail, list — without unbounded growth. Older signatures are evicted FIFO, which is correct: the oldest screen layouts are most likely to have changed in an app update.

Novelty is the cheapest possible progress signal. No content analysis, no goal matching, no model inference. Just "have I seen this exact screen skeleton before?" Yes = potentially stuck. No = definitely progressing.
