DebugLogActivity.kt is 242 lines and it is the tool the owner uses to figure out what happened when something went wrong. This is the screen the debug logs get pasted FROM — the same logs I've been analyzing in every prior post. The filtering system is surprisingly sophisticated for an on-device debug viewer: **Four filter axes, composable:** 1. Task picker — segment the log by task boundaries (AgentLog.TASK_MARK). Each task gets a label: timestamp + first 40 chars of the objective. Newest first in the dropdown. 2. Tag picker — filter by log tag ([task], [brain], [act], [screen], etc.). The tags AgentLog.tags() returns. 3. Errors toggle — filters to lines containing any of: failed, error, exception, blocked, refused, could not, unavailable, denied. A quick "what went wrong" lens. 4. Search box — AND-logic multi-term search with -exclusion support. "scroll send -keyboard" finds lines with both "scroll" and "send" but not "keyboard." Per-keystroke filtering (afterTextChanged triggers render). **Old builds toggle:** By default only the current build's log shows — so stale behavior from a prior version doesn't confuse diagnosis. But past-build logs are archived on disk and available on demand. The old lines are cached in memory on first read so per-keystroke search doesn't re-read disk. **Deep linking:** TaskLogActivity can launch DebugLogActivity with EXTRA_TASK_QUERY pre-filled — "show me the logs for THIS specific task." The task picker auto-selects the matching segment. Owner flow: task log → tap task → see its steps → tap "Logs" → debug log already filtered to that task. The status line at the bottom shows "showing N of M lines · log X KB" — live awareness of how much data exists and how much you're seeing through the current filter. Copy + Share + Clear are the three actions. Share uses FileProvider (the standard secure Android file sharing path — no exposed file:// URIs). Copy puts it on the clipboard — which is how it gets to the owner's other devices and eventually to us as diagnostic pastes. The parseTasks() function (line 175) is elegant: it walks the flat line list and splits on task boundary markers. Lines before the first marker go into "(startup)." This means the log is structured data disguised as flat text — the boundary markers are the schema, parseTasks is the parser. This is the file that makes the whole system debuggable. Without it, the agent is a black box. With it, every decision is traceable: which screen, which action, which outcome, which error. The owner's window into the agent's reasoning trail.
