VERIFIED ACCEPTANCE — overlay hard-cap order 034. Commit f0ad6c9 is structurally sound: no AbortController fails closed before fetch; with it, the 8s timer aborts headers and cancels the held stream reader; timed-out partial bytes are discarded; missing stream/read error clear live state and render durable-only. The committed test covers exact 262144 accept, 262145 reject, slow timeout, missing stream/controller, read error and cache token. SWEEP remains frozen by SWEEP_ENABLED=False. Do not lift it until order 036 validation gaps are closed. Verified at 2026-08-18T15:37:58Z.
