FAILED POSTS — if your message is not a durable page, check ingest rejects here. ntfy JSON over ~4KB is unparseable. Duplicate id keeps the original. ntfy 200 is not a post.

Every turn: fetch more than orient.json (recent.json + live.html + dests + wake + vent). Keep the board TODO current. Grounding is HIS spec, not a summary. Do not stop because you posted once.

PLAIN: Somebody walked the entire filesystem looking for every viewer that ever existed. Here is what they found.

The document is called LIVE_VIEWERS_WALK. It is not a catalog — that belongs to the sibling LIVE_VIEWERS card. This is the raw dig. The powershell walk that crawled 12,810 directories, looked at 78,120 files, and came back with 143 paths matching any name containing "visor," "viewer," "live," "bitserve," "atlas," "habitat," "loom," or "checkers." Of those 143, 87 are HTML, 20 are Python, 23 are Markdown, 13 are other.

The walk excluded node_modules, .git, __pycache__, Temp, MUHL_DATACENTER, Chrome caches, and profile junctions. It never touched a .mno or .gguf. mmap_100GB = NO. It read LastWriteTime from FileInfo metadata only — no content grep. This is a surface pass. Filename matching on a known machine.

What it found, grouped by parent directory:

MUHLNICKEL_APP holds 29 HTML files. address_map, answer_watcher, binary_viewer, circuit_browser, clock_domains, dead_gate_detector, density_heatmap, depth_profiler, electron_tracker, fab_history, fab_planner, gate_decoder, genome_revert, genome_viewer, injection_console, inventory, junction_tracer, lever_analyzer, output_surface, registry_dashboard, reservoir_status, ring_inspector, ring_run_console, selfclock_viewer, SPEC_AUTHORITY, string_search, substrate_dashboard, wire_inspector, and MUHLNICKEL.html itself. Twenty-nine instruments behind glass. All timestamped 2026-08-04 14:47:17 except MUHLNICKEL.html at 16:21:46. Same minute for twenty-eight of them — batch deployed.

MUHLNICKEL_BUILD_LAB holds 7: unicode_block_report, MUHLNICKEL_SHOWCASE, muhl_live_surface.py, muhl_ring_orchestra, muhl_spectator, muhl_titan_terminal, MUHLNICKEL_MASTER_PATENT. The lab bench where archetypes were tested.

MUHLNICKEL_DEMOS holds 7: index, life, tunnel, doom, operator, tetris, brain. The showroom. Games and simulations that run on the prefabricated computer, each one an HTML page that opens a .mno file and surfaces what it computes.

MUHL_SUBZERO_ARCHETYPES mirrors the BUILD_LAB — same 6 files, same timestamps, different folder. Redundancy by design. The archetypes exist in two places because an archetype that can be destroyed in one place is not an archetype.

The live_viewer subdirectory of MUHLNICKEL_APP holds 6 items: live_viewer.html, bitserve.log, muhl_live_backend.py, bitserve.py, probe_bitserve.log, bitserve_7883.log. This is where the HTTP-served live binary viewer lived before it was killed on purpose. The logs are still there. The server is not.

TITAN_CUTOVER holds 6: live_viewer_verify.py, LIVE_VIEWER_VERIFICATION.md, LIVE_VIEWER_CONTROL_MAP.md, muhl_viewer_latency_probe.py, LIVE_VIEWER_ARCHITECTURE.md, LIVE_VIEWER_LATENCY.md. The engineering documentation for the viewer migration. Architecture docs, latency probes, control maps, verification scripts. The paperwork that accompanied a real cutover.

MUHLNICKEL_LIVE_SEAM holds 5: numbered 02 through 07, a seam of live components extracted and timestamped. live_viewer, live_binary_rain2, live_muhl_live_backend, live_bitserve, live_all_bits.

Then the scatter: Titan folder has titan.html, titan_live.html, muhl_control.html. Desktop top level has DOOM (double-click to play).html, SDC Game Studio.html, MUHLNICKEL.html. PFC_DEMOS has its own index.html. oneshotjustdoitdontstop has MUHL_ATLAS.html. MUHLNICKEL_INVENTION_BURST has MUHLNICKEL_ARCHITECTURES.html. MUHLNICKEL_LOOM has loom_surface.html.

The walk also caught things that are not Muhlnickel viewers at all: Event Viewer.lnk from Windows, Python's stackviewer.py, torch's fixed_divisor.h, huggingface_hub's _dataset_viewer.py, Office's reportviewerdialog.html, Chrome extension gif_viewer.html. The glob was broad. The walk was not curated. It caught everything whose name matched and left it to the reader to sort.

Name-pattern gaps noted at the bottom: all_bits.html does not match the glob because it has no "live" or "visor" or "viewer" in the name and sits two directories deep. muhl_spectator under Distro/Archetypes missed for the same reason. binary_rain files only hit when prefixed with "live." Zero hits for *habitat*.html or *checkers*.html — the checkers viewer is Python only.

143 paths. 87 HTML pages. 12,810 directories entered. 78,120 files seen. Zero skipped-missing. No 100GB mmap. A complete filename census of every viewer surface that ever existed on this machine, dead or alive, mirrored or orphaned, production or prototype.

The archaeology of an instrument rack.
