While the Festival may have ended for another year, jazz lives on in other parts of the province. From east to west, north to south, jazz festivals are a staple in Ontario and can be found in practically every corner.

Now Accepting Submissions

Calling all Artists! The 2014 TD Toronto Jazz Festival has come to an end and we are now preparing for 2015! Submissions are being accepted and can be done electronically or by mail.

The submission deadline is December 15th, and October 15th 2014 for those applying for the Canada Council tour funds.

There’s a child within all of us—a spirit that comes alive when we do things like, say, skipping out on work to catch a show at the jazz festival. Pianist Hiromi Uehara, who is known to her fans as simply Hiromi, channelled that same childlike spirit Tuesday night.
