Privacy Policy for Contacts Manager

1. Introduction Your privacy is critically important to us. Contacts Manager was built with a strict local-first architecture. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data when you use our application.

2. Data Collection & Processing Contacts Manager does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal contact data on external servers. All processing, including finding duplicates and creating backups, happens directly and locally on your Apple device. Your data never leaves your phone.

3. Contact Permissions The app requires access to your Apple Contacts database in order to function. This access is strictly used to read your contacts for display, modification, and backup purposes entirely driven by your explicit actions within the app.

4. Analytics & Tracking We do not employ any third-party cloud-based analytics frameworks (such as Firebase or Crashlytics) that gather your physical location, personal contact names, phone numbers, or email addresses.

5. Backups and Exporting When the app generates a backup of your contacts, that backup file is stored locally in the app's secure sandbox on your device. You have the full right to delete these backups or explicitly export them (via the iOS Share Sheet) to destinations of your choosing.
