This firmware upgrade scenario involves uploading the Thingy application onto the board using a cable connection. Optionally, you can also flash the bootloader and its settings.

You will require nRFgo Studio to run this procedure.

To upgrade the firmware with nRFgo Studio, follow these steps:

1. Start nRFgo Studio.
2. Connect your board to the host.
3. Select nRF52 development boards.
4. Select the Program Application tab.
5. Click Browse to locate the application HEX file that you want to program.
6. Click Program.
