It's not a bad place. Very quiet despite fact that Bennett Drive is the road right in front. It's close to the airport but very little nose. The manager Joy is great. Friendly and upbeat. If you have the attitude that you want to work with her things will get done. Maint guy is good and reliable. He gets repairs done quickly. (He even unclogs my bathroom sink. I have very long hair.) Good

Northbrook Place Apartments has received positive feedback for its friendly and reliable management. Some residents have highlighted the good relationship they have with the manager, noting that issues tend to be addressed efficiently when tenants approach them with a cooperative attitude. One resident, who lived there for 25 years, appreciates the quiet atmosphere despite the proximity to busy roads and the airport, making it a desirable location for long-term living.

Moreover, residents have praised the pet policy, which allows them to have pets comfortably in their apartments. The ability to have pets such as cats has been a significant factor for those seeking pet-friendly rentals, making Northbrook Place a good option for pet owners seeking a new home. Community features such as friendly neighbors and proximity to local amenities like Fred Meyer and Bellis Fair also contribute to the good reviews.

Great

The Northbrook Place Apartments shine in their community feel and proximity to essential amenities, making it a great place to live. Residents have pointed out the friendly nature of both neighbors and staff as a highlight, fostering a sense of belonging and community. One resident mentioned the quiet environment amidst busy surroundings, indicating a pleasantly surprising and peaceful living experience for tenants. Management receives commendations for their approachability and problem-solving skills, often ensuring maintenance requests are met with prompt responses.

The convenient location close to shopping centers and freeway access further adds to the allure of residing at Northbrook Place Apartments. Residents find the area less noisy than anticipated and appreciate the balanced combination of residential peace and city accessibility. For those who value good quality of life within a vibrant community, Northbrook Place Apartments presents itself as a fantastic choice.

Bad

However, Northbrook Place Apartments has not been free of criticism. Parking policies have been a common issue highlighted in user reviews, whereby a first-come-first-serve system can lead to residents struggling to find parking spaces. This has led to vehicles being parked in less conventional spots, causing inconvenience and occasional frustration among the tenants.

Another drawback mentioned by the residents is noise, which has reportedly increased over time. This can be bothersome for those who initially moved in valuing the quiet setting. Some individuals have expressed concerns over maintenance and security, particularly with shared laundry facilities experiencing break-ins, resulting in the loss of personal items. These problems thwart the otherwise positive experiences some tenants have had.

Ugly

Despite its numerous advantages, Northbrook Place Apartments has faced some severe criticisms, especially concerning maintenance and security issues. A particularly troubling user review described extensive delays in addressing maintenance requests, which left the property vulnerable to additional damage, such as holes in garage walls. This negligence, paired with experiences of theft and vehicle towing without adequate warning, has frustrated some residents, leading to a significant tarnish on the property's reputation.

Security has also been a substantial concern for some tenants, notably due to reports of stolen items from the laundry facilities. Such incidents exacerbate existing frustrations among residents, leading to feelings of insecurity. Furthermore, the property management has been criticized for blanket notifications regarding pet waste control, which some pet owners find unfair and discouraging. The lack of response to these issues in user reviews points to a communication gap that must be addressed to improve tenant satisfaction.
