This license applies to the software project distributed with this file,
including its source code, compiled binaries, assets, documentation, and other
original materials (the "Software").

1. PERMITTED USE

You may download, install, and use the Software for personal, educational, and
non-commercial purposes.

2. MODPACK DISTRIBUTION

You may include an unmodified, official release of the Software in a modpack
provided that:

- the modpack can be downloaded and used without payment, purchase,
  subscription, or mandatory donation;
- the Software is not sold, licensed for a fee, or offered as a separately
  paid feature;
- the Software is credited to xcruell and a link to an official project page
  is provided where reasonably possible;
- this license and all copyright notices remain intact; and
- you do not imply that the modpack is endorsed by or affiliated with the
  copyright holder.

Voluntary donations and ordinary platform advertising are permitted, provided
that payment is not required to access the modpack or the Software.

3. USE BY OTHER MODS AND COMPATIBILITY PROJECTS

Other mods and software projects may:

- declare the Software as a dependency;
- interact with it through public APIs, documented interfaces, events,
  registries, identifiers, or normal mod-loader mechanisms; and
- create and distribute independent compatibility addons.

Such projects may use their own license, provided that they do not copy or
embed substantial portions of the Software's source code, binaries, or assets.
This permission does not grant permission to redistribute the Software itself
outside the modpack permission in Section 2, nor does it imply endorsement.

4. RESTRICTIONS

Without prior written permission from the copyright holder, you may not:

- redistribute the Software as a standalone download, mirror, or reupload;
- distribute modified builds, forks, ports, or derivative versions of the
  Software;
- copy, republish, sublicense, or incorporate the Software's source code,
  binaries, textures, models, sounds, branding, or other assets into another
  project;
- sell, rent, commercially license, or place the Software or a modpack
  containing it behind a paywall;
- remove or alter copyright, attribution, or license notices; or
- represent yourself as the author or official maintainer of the Software.

5. SOURCE AVAILABILITY

Access to the source code does not make the Software open source and does not
grant rights beyond those explicitly stated in this license.

6. THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL

Third-party libraries, APIs, template files, and other materials included with
or referenced by the Software remain subject to their respective licenses.
Those licenses are not replaced or restricted by this license. In particular,
NeoForge MDK template files remain covered by the separate
TEMPLATE_LICENSE.txt where that file is present.

7. TERMINATION

Your permission under this license terminates automatically if you violate its
terms. Upon termination, you must stop distributing the Software and remove
unauthorized copies under your control.

8. ADDITIONAL PERMISSION

For permissions not granted here, contact the copyright holder through an
official project page. Additional permission is valid only when provided in
writing by the copyright holder.
