All text formatting operations (converting standard text to Unicode bold, italic, etc.) are performed **100% locally** on your device inside your browser:
- Text is converted purely client-side via in-memory mathematical mappings.
- No network requests are made by the extension during operation.
- No text is ever transmitted over the Internet.

The extension runs with minimal permissions required for operation:
- **Content Scripts (`https://*.linkedin.com/*`, `https://*.x.com/*`, `https://*.twitter.com/*`)**: Used solely to detect when you highlight text inside LinkedIn and X post, comment, thread, and reply editors, and to display the floating formatting toolbar directly on the page.
- **Zero Sensitive Permissions**: No host permissions, no storage, no background worker.
