The code in this repository is MIT licensed. See LICENSE. That grant covers the
source, the build tooling and the generated bundles only.

Character artwork
-----------------
The character illustration (artwork/source/), the six generated state assets
(assets/*.svg), the plugin icon (assets/icon.svg) and the documentation images
under docs/images/ are contributed by this package's owner. They are NOT covered
by the MIT code license. See ASSETS-LICENSE.md for their terms and for the exact
processing steps applied to the source image.

Bubble fonts
------------
assets/fonts/ contains two subsets of SIL Open Font License 1.1 fonts
(ZCOOL KuaiLe for Chinese, Fredoka for Latin), inherited unchanged from the
upstream project. See FONT-LICENSES.md for sources, the OFL texts and the
reserved-name requirements.

Upstream
--------
This project is a fork of dsh-plugin-whale-pet 0.2.9
(https://github.com/Yifffan/dsh-plugin-whale-pet), MIT licensed. Its state
machine, host bridge, build tooling and wording are the work of the upstream
authors; the character and every state asset were replaced here. The upstream
whale artwork is not part of this repository.
